Day Trippin

I recently went on a day trip to Vermont with two of my friends.
We're all kind of crazy, so we figured that a road trip would get us out of state and meeting new people.
We're also kind of poor. So we day-tripped it up all the way to Vermont.
We went to the Manchester Outlets, in Manchester Center. Then we basically went by ear.
Much to the dismay of our TomTom, who would yell at us to "Make a u-turn at the next possible time" and who gave us to the death trap of a Massachusetts rotary.
"Take the first exit off of the turn-about" says Ken.
I don't think so.
It was on the Australian setting for more than half the trip.
We got sick of Ken going off, drinking Fosters when he had nothing to say, and giving us confusing directions to places we weren't trying to go.
We then turned on Simon.
He's the U.K. version.
He was quite helpful.

Anyways, we made it back to CT in one piece. And broker than we had been when we left.
I'll be posting pictures of my new Betsy Johnson necklace.
The girls at the outlet in VT thought we were such a comical group that they gave us 30% off everything we bought.
It was kickass.
I also got little stuffed animals to give to my Mom and one of my teachers at beauty school.
Cause they're awesome.

So that was the end of our trip.
Oh.
One more thing.
We were almost an hour from home.
We were listening to Kristi's ipod. Nick Swardson (funny s.o.b.).
If you don't know who he is, DOWNLOAD HIM. Or... something.
He was talking about how he's excited to be an old guy cause they can do weird shit and no one will say anything.
Like he wants to shit in a box and wrap it for someone's birthday.
And when they get it they'll be like "oh grandpa, it's lovely..... he's just old."
Shitting in a box made me and Kristi think of our friend Sarnik.
Eliza has never met Sarnik and has always wanted to (long story).
And there, through the pouring rain, is the exit for Farmington.
So we screamed Sarnik, got off the exit, and went for a visit.

And that was the end of our trip.
Really this time.
I'm serious.
